Diamond willow is formed from willow trees, which grow in the unique habitat of low lying wet and swampy areas. The beautiful diamonds and patterns found on the diamond willow are the result of the attack on the trees by one or possibly more types of fungus.

The resulting wood is a unique, beautiful and strong wood that weathers very well.
